This 5,000 square foot renovation sought to restore this house to its prior elegance. Designed by renowned architect George Christiansen in 1970 this slump block home had suffered previous poor additions and remodels. The new work included renovation of the rear pool area and patios to open up views to the rear yard. A new roof was designed over the master suite adding beamed ceilings and eliminating a roof deck that was never used. A new entrance was added that captures up hill views of Mummy Mountain and a new corner window in the kitchen now floods the room with natural light. A new garage and front turnaround now provides adequate off street parking for the frequent parties that the couple host.
