About the Principal
Michael was raised in Tempe, Arizona amid the many houses being constructed in the 1970’s. He developed a talent for design and construction at an early age creating furniture and structures with his Father and friends. He graduated from Arizona State University in 1986 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Design Science. He is a registered Architect in California and Arizona.
He founded Higgins Architects in 1994 with the goal of creating excellent design and catering to his client’s tastes and budgets. He received the coveted Phoenix Home & Garden – Master of the Southwest Award in 2009. He has raised the bar for excellence in home design with over 290 homes completed in Arizona alone. He is committed to providing the highest level of service and creating unique and enduring custom homes.
