PARADISE CANYON ROAD
Mexican Colonial
Location: Paradise Valley, AZ
Built in 1978 This house was expanded with a second story and improved by opening up the interior living spaces. Walls were removed and a new kitchen was connected to courtyards and patios to expand the living space. A spa and Ramada were added to the pool area and a new pergola was used to provide separation to the adjacent tennis court. The addition of a second story allows beautiful views looking north to the Carefree Foothills. The interior walls and openings are articulated through the use of beams and brick that highlight the transition between rooms. Traditional Mexican Colonial detailing can be found throughout the home in the use of canterra stone, brick, rustic stained beams and heavily carved wood work.
